The Torrance Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) program provides comprehensive services for individuals with opioid use disorders and poly substance use disorders. MAT combines FDA-approved medications with counseling and behavioral therapies to treat substance use disorders.
Services include medical evaluation, medication management, individual and group counseling, education, pre-screens and 2nd level screenings, treatment referrals, and connection to additional recovery support services.
The Torrance MAT program is funded by the Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) and the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA).
