Residential Facilities

BHS operates two residential facilities focusing on alcohol and other drug rehabilitation services.  We also provide services for clients with HIV/AIDS, mental illness, pregnant and postpartum women.  Programs include short and long term residential services.  Both residential programs are licensed and certified by the State of California Department of Alcohol and Drug Programs, and accredited by CARF...The Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities. 

Our Philosophy

Recovery is a life-long process which is most successful when it begins in a stable, supportive community environment over an extended period of time. Both programs emphasize individual recovery planning and 12-step involvement.

Serves chemically dependent men and women in a structured environment. Participants are offered comprehensive treatment services including individualized treatment planning, educational groups, individual and group counseling. Services available in Spanish and English.

Serves alcohol and drug dependent women who are better suited for a non coed facility. A special track allows women with dependent children, up to age 10, to enter the program as a family unit. Participants develop a sense of responsibility for themselves, their children and their program while preparing for a successful transition to the sober community.
