Program Description

Pacifica House is a residential drug and alcohol treatment program licensed and certified by the State of California, and accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities.  Pacifica House provides a comprehensive system of care, including long and short term residential treatment.


Our treatment is based on the disease concept of chemical dependency.  Our goals are for people to return to society as productive members, maintain their abstinence, and actively participate in recovery support systems. Special services are available for Proposition 36 participants, persons with HIV/AIDS, and persons with co-occurring mental health disorders.


We provide the following services:

  • Short and long-term residential treatment
  • Free confidential assessments
  • Group and individual counseling
  • Educational groups
  • Specialized groups for persons with co-occurring disorders
  • Coordination with Mental Health Services
  • Relapse prevention
  • Urinalysis/drug screen testing
  • Referrals to community services
  • HIV/AIDS education
  • Aftercare and alumni
  • Introduction to 12-step groups
