Program Description

American Recovery Center (ARC) is a free-standing Chemical Dependency Recovery Hospital licensed and certified by the State of California, and is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities. ARC provides a comprehensive system of care, including detoxification from alcohol and other drugs, residential and outpatient treatment.

Our treatment is based on the disease concept of chemical dependency. Our goals are for individuals to return to society as productive members, maintain their abstinence, and actively participate in recovery support systems.

Special services are available for CalWORKS participants, Drug Court, Proposition 36, CARE, persons with HIV/AIDS, and persons with co-occurring mental health disorders. We provide the following services:

• Inpatient medical detoxification
• Short and long term residential treatment
• Intensive outpatient HIV/AIDS education
• Free confidential assessments
• Group and individual counseling
• Family counseling Educational groups
• Aftercare and alumni
• Urinalysis/drug screen testing
• Introduction to 12-step groups
