Grand Opening/Ribbon Cutting for BHS/Pacifica House Thrift Store “Thrifty Threads and Things”

Members of the Hawthorne community will attend the ribbon cutting for "Thrifty Threads and Things" at BHS/Pacifica House, hosted by City of Hawthorne's Mayor Larry Guidi. Proceeds from the thrift store benefit drug and alcohol treatment and recovery. The event will be video taped by Hawthorne Cable and publicized on Hawthorne channel 22. Food will be provided.

BHS/Pacifica House 2801 West El Segundo Boulevard Hawthorne, CA 90250

Who:

Hawthorne Mayor Larry Guidi, Hawthorne Councilman Pablo Catano, Hawthorne Chamber of Commerce President Don Harris, BHS President/CEO Lawrence T. Gentile, BHS/Pacifica House Program Director Mike Millard, numerous community members and the recovering community.

Why:

To raise funds for drug and alcohol treatment and recovery, provide the local community with needed resources at low prices, and provide job training to newly recovering individuals.
